Overview: The NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Skills for Business: Enterprise is a 90 credit Ofqual regulated qualification and is the equivalent level to an A Level or Access to Higher Education qualification. It has been designed with support from higher education providers and is intended for learners who wish to progress to a business degree but may not have the traditional entry qualifications usually required.

Course Structure: 9 units (total 90 credits)

Entry Requirements: This qualification will suit those learners who are planning to take a business and management degree but do not yet have sufficient, relevant attainment at Level 3 to meet the entry requirements for a higher education course or they wish to progress their career in a management role at entry level.

Qualification:To be awarded the NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Skills for Business Enterprise, learners are required to successfully complete 6 units from group A and 3 units from group B.

  2. Unit 02 Deliver customer service in a business environment (10 credits)
  3. Unit 03 Produce documents in a business environment (10 credits)
  4. Unit 04 Solve problems in a business environment (10 credits)
  5. Unit 05 Work with others in a business environment (10 credits)
  6. Unit 06 Communicate in a business environment (10 credits)
  7. Unit 07 Contribute to running a project (10 credits)
  8. Unit 08 Innovation in a business environment (10 credits)
  9. Unit 09 Manage and improve own performance in a business environment (10 credits)
  10. Unit 10 Respond to change in a business environment (10 credits)

Group A

  1. Unit 11 Starting a small business (10 credits)
  2. Unit 12 Social enterprise (10 credits)
  3. Unit 13 Finance for a new business (10 credits)

Progression: The qualification is designed to provide access to higher education (e.g. University) entry to various Bachelor Degree programmes at UK universities.
